Wes has spent over a decade working in the healthcare industry where he represented clients in state and federal court matters and in state and federal agency matters. Wes regularly represents clients in federal and state whistleblower cases involving healthcare and banking fraud, nursing home/assisted living negligence, personal injury, defamation, breach of contract, corporate/shareholder disputes and wrongful termination. Most recently, Wes was recognized in August 2017 by as a "Legal Elite of the Midlands" in the area of healthcare law by Columbia Business Monthly magazine.
Wes grew up in Camden, South Carolina, the son of a nursing home administrator. He attended Clemson University for his undergraduate studies, and then he moved to Columbia, SC to study health administration and law. After graduation, Wes worked at Nexsen Pruit, a NLJ 350 Law Firm. He also has worked as a General Counsel for a large healthcare provider. Wes is married and has two sons that attend Hammond School in Columbia, South Carolina.
