Shaun's practice is centered on high-stakes litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, with a focus on assisting individuals and businesses injured by the wrongdoing of others. Most recently, Shaun was recognized in August 2017 by as a "Legal Elite of the Midlands" in the area of business litigation by Columbia Business Monthly magazine. Shaun also litigates employment disputes in state and federal courts. Prior to joining Rogers Lewis, Shaun was a partner at Adams and Reese LLP, an AmLaw 200 Law Firm.
Shaun was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, where he attended the College of Charleston. Throughout college, Shaun worked for one of the men he admires most - his first legal mentor, James A. Stuckey, Jr. - who showed him the dedication, professionalism, and sense of humor that is required to be a successful litigator. After attending law school in Columbia, SC, Shaun practiced workers' compensation law in Charlotte, North Carolina. Shaun moved back to Columbia in 2007, and he is married and has two children. Shaun currently volunteers his legal services as General Counsel for Downtown Church, a Presbyterian Church congregation in Columbia, and for the Soda City Crit, a holiday race on Main Street dedicated to encouraging youths to lead healthy and active lifestyles.
